As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been really loving my new hobby corner, and one of the best parts of it so far has been the dedicated airbrush space, so that I can just bust it out and work with it much more quickly, which has really helped me to get better at using it. The other nice development is that I’ve moved on to a different brand of airbrush cleaner–I am now using the Iwata-Medea stuff, and man, it WORKS. My brush is clogging far less often, and when I run some of this stuff through it, I can go for quite a long session without needing to clean the needle or resorting to dismantling or soaking the nozzle. As you can see above, I’ve made some great progress on my Treeman. I haven’t used any regular brushes yet, just airbrush, but I’m really happy with the blend of colors, highlighting and shades so far. I also picked up a box of the Sisters of the Thorn this week, so my small Wood Elf force has suddenly grown from a few Glade Guard and Eternal Guard to a legit little army!
